Back Blogging

It has been awhile since my last post but I have been doing the crossfit workouts given to me by Coach Joy. In between work school and life I have done a bit of skiing. I finally broke down and went out and bought some new skis and boots. I got Dynastar "nothing but trouble" skis which are twin tipped all around skis. I could not be happier with the purchase and the guys down at Jacksons Ski and Sport hooked me up big time. Skiing has been great been to Killington twice. The first time was decent all groomed trails. However 2 weekends ago we ventured up during the storm and skied on Saturday in almost 2ft of snow. Unreal day and then we stayed the night to enjoy the great Pickle Barrel. The night consisted of us watching Joy trying to dance with Auntie Kate.

For the workouts I finally cleaned up the basement and the pull up bar and weights are set and this morning was my first workout.

As many rounds in 20min of:
5 Thrusters
7 Power Hang Cleans
10 Sumo high deadlifts

RDS 8 + 5 thrusters and a few power hang cleans.

Monday was my rest day and I should not have rested seeing I skipped Sunday however I was extremely hung over.

I had the double Patrick Roy........33:33(39 pull ups were on the assisted pull up machine) VAG I KNOW!
Then I believe I took to much water in and vomited into the trash. All in all hands are sore. Trying to decide on tomorrow is I should Run/Row/or Bike.

REST DAY!!!!!!!!!

Today was the rest day after three painful workouts. I am a virgin to this Crossfit workout and coach Joy really has not "eased it in" as she would say.

I actually went to the gym this morning and swam and un-timed 1/4 mile @ a nice relaxing pace. My back was a little sore from the last 3 days so I managed to sit my fat ass in the hot tub for a good 20 mins and relax.

Until tomorrow when "angie" comes into town.

Monday was the first day of the "Moffett Project" as Joy calls it and I must listen to him because he is my coach and has been working on a great work out plan for myself He is a complete animal and you can check out him and his buddies battle it out in their garage/gym/closet.
